The Webster Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the August 2008 Business of the Month to Gary Spampinato, owner and founder of Spampinato Mechanical Contractors.
Gary has been in business for over 25 years. He became interested in construction when he worked part time for his best friend’s family. They were in the carpentry business. He has always loved building things.

Gary’s career began by focusing on mechanical contracting that included plumbing, heating, sewer and gas pipe installation. With a staff of eight full-time employees he has since expanded the business to include other general contracting projects, such as interior remodeling to exterior additions for residential and commercial properties.
Gary’s family has also participated in the growth of the business. In the early years his wife managed the office. His daughter also worked in the office prior to leaving for college. His son, Gary (Little G), has joined the business full time focusing his talents on plumbing installations and repairs.
Gary and his family are Webster residents. They enjoy giving back to our Community. He has donated weekends with time and equipment to help in building the softball fields behind Webster Town Hall for the Webster Athletic Association. He coached softball when in his daughters were in school. He was active in Boy Scouts when his son was in school. He organizes golf tournaments for fund raisers. One to two times each year he will donate time and money for contracting projects for individuals that do not have the financial ability to pay for much needed improvements in their homes. He is a supporter of Webster Comfort Care Home, Webster Firemen’s Assoc., and the Police Benevolent Fund.

And, Gary recently submitted a sketch site plan to the Town Planning Board to construct a 6600 square foot addition to his own office building on Ridge Road. Congratulations!
