With easy access directly to Route 104, the soccer, hockey, swimming, track and multi-purpose field house will draw literally thousands of people each year to the Webster area.

The COMMUNITY CORE is located in the center of Webster and includes such recreational facilities as the Community Ice Arena, - square ft Indoor/Outdoor Soccer Complex; 21,000 square ft multi-purpose field house: 50 meter swimming pool with a 16 foot diving area, suitable for local/state/regional competitions 8-lane, all-weather out-door track: and - multi-purpose fields. Also available within the Core are Webster Thomas and Webster Schroeder High Schools and Willink Middle School which provide additional recreational/athletic facilities, including a 25 yard swimming pool suitable for warm water recreational and rehabilitative activities; several tennis courts; a lighted stadium with seating for 4,500: baseball and softball fields and a number of additional multi-purpose fields. Two fully equipped concession stands are also located within the Community Core. Parking for over 2,000 is available at the Webster Schroeder High School Site and in excess of 1,500 at the Webster Thomas High School Site. Another - parking places are available at the Community Ice Arena/Indoor Soccer Complex.
High Tech / Light Industrial Area
As part of the town's comprehensive plan, an area of prime real estate in the eastern section of Webster immediately adjacent to Route 104 and Basket Road has been designated for high-tech and light industrial development. This area is the corridor that is under consideration by the Monroe County Water Authority for its "Cold Water Development Project." The county and the Water Authority are actively exploring the use of Lake Ontario as a natural resource. Preliminary plans have been discussed to create a cold water district which would use the cooler water temperatures of Lake Ontario to provide low cost air conditioning and inexpensive cooling for high heat manufacturing processes. The Basket Road area site already has complete access to utilities including sewer, water, electric, and fiber optic network cable.
This area is immediately adjacent to the Xerox complex and companies such as Paychex have begun to relocate there.
